Enable a Custom Header in Phin Security
Phin admins can enable a tenant-specific custom email header via the Phin Portal under Settings > Sending Settings to help third-party email tools easily identify and filter phishing emails sent through Phin.
Admins can use custom headers with Phin for better email filtering.
If you ever want to verify whether a phishing email sent to an end user was sent from Phin, follow these steps to enable a custom header. Enabling custom headers with Phin is a solution to easily identify Phin phishing emails in third-party email tools.
- 1.In the Phin Portal using the left hand navigation, go to Settings > Sending Settings.
- 2.If you haven’t already, you can generate a new custom header that you can use in a third-party email tool to filter and find phishing emails specific to Phin.
Please note that setup for this Phin custom header is set up per tenant/customer and is not applied to all tenants.
