How to Add a New Partner Admin

The article explains how to add, update, remove, and reset passwords for Partner Admins in the Phin Security Awareness Training platform, detailing steps to add new admins with either Standard or Full Access permissions via the partner dashboard, emphasizing unique email usage and mandatory two-factor authentication, and providing instructions for managing admin accounts securely.

Overview

Running Security Awareness Training alone can be challenging. Adding admins at the partner level allows them to access all customer accounts. If you want to add an admin to only one customer account, refer to the appropriate article. For security reasons, only you can add admins to your account in the Phin portal. It is recommended to have at least two full admins on your Phin account.

Adding New Partner Admins

  1. 1.Log into your partner dashboard.
  2. 2.In the Your Clients section, locate Partner Administrators. On the right, click the + in a circle to add a new admin.
  3. 3.Enter the new admin's First Name, Last Name, and Email. Each email address can only be used once for an admin in Phin. For example, if John@doe.com is used as a partner admin email, it cannot be reused in any other partner or company as an admin.
  4. 4.Select the permission options for the Partner Administrator:
    • Standard: Can manage all company users, setup, campaigns, and reporting.
    • Full Access: Can manage billing information, partner admin access, and perform all actions available to a Standard admin.
  5. 5.Click Create to send the new admin an email to create their account.

All new admin accounts in Phin automatically have 2FA turned on and required.


Updating a Partner Admin

To update an admin's level, go to the partner home page and select the blue pencil and paper icon on the far right.


Removing a Partner Admin from Phin

To remove a Partner Admin, find the admin you want to remove and click the red trashcan button on the right. After clicking, a prompt will appear confirming the action. This action cannot be undone. To re-add the admin, you must re-invite them as a new admin. Once you click Delete, the admin will be removed from the platform.


Resetting an Admin's Password

If a Phin admin is unable to log in, they can reset their password by visiting:
