How to Cancel a Phishing Campaign
The guide explains how to cancel a phishing campaign on Phin's platform by navigating to the Phishing Campaigns menu, selecting and confirming cancellation of the desired campaign, and also details how to download data from previously canceled campaigns via the Past Campaigns section.
Overview
If you have a phishing campaign that has run its course or need to delete one you set up, you can easily cancel it on Phin's platform. Please note that as of August 12, 2025, all campaign management has moved to a unified Campaigns page accessible from the side navigation. The steps below may not reflect the latest interface changes.
Step 1: Navigate to the Phishing Campaigns Menu
- 1.Go to the home screen of the client portal.
- 2.Use the left-hand side menu to access the dashboard.
- 3.Click on Phishing in the left-hand menu.
- 4.When the drop-down menu appears, click on Campaigns.
Step 2: Canceling the Phishing Campaign
- 1.Within the dashboard, locate the campaign you want to cancel.
- 2.On the right-hand side of the campaign, click the red Cancel button.
- 3.A prompt will appear warning that this action cannot be undone. Once canceled, the campaign cannot be restarted. To run it again, you would need to create a new campaign.
- 4.Confirm the cancellation. Your campaign is now canceled.
Step 3: Pulling Data from Canceled Campaigns
- 1.To retrieve data from previously deleted campaigns, go to Past Campaigns within the Phishing Dashboard.
- 2.Find the canceled campaign you want data from.
- 3.Click the cloud download button on the right-hand side.
- 4.This will download an Excel spreadsheet containing the data for that campaign.
