How to Edit Continuous Phishing Campaigns
The guide explains how to edit continuous phishing campaigns by first selecting a target audience—company-wide, department, manager, or Azure group—and then configuring the campaign schedule with options for frequency, delivery timing, and phishing simulation windows, noting that all campaign management has moved to a unified Campaigns page as of August 12, 2025.
Editing Continuous Phishing Campaigns
After setting up your continuous phishing campaign using the Continuous Campaign Creator tool, you may want to further configure or adjust its parameters. Here’s how you can do that:
Note (8.12.2025): Creating, viewing, and editing all campaign types has moved to a unified Campaigns page, accessible under 'Campaigns' from the side navigation. The steps below may not reflect the latest UI locations.
Step 1: Select an Audience
When editing a campaign, your first step is to select the audience. There are four options for delivering campaigns:
- 1.Company Campaign: Delivers the campaign company-wide. All current and future users on the platform are included.
- 2.Department Campaign: Targets a specific department within the company. (To add departments to users, refer to the relevant documentation.)
- 3.Manager Campaign: Targets users under a specific manager. (To add a manager's email to users, refer to the relevant documentation.)
- 4.Group Campaign: Runs campaigns for specific Azure Groups. This option appears only if Azure Sync is connected. The user count will reflect the number of users in the selected group(s).
After selecting your audience, proceed to set the schedule.
Step 2: Set the Schedule
The scheduling tool allows you to configure when and how often phishing simulations are sent.
- Default: All training is set to fire on the first Monday of the month.
Recurring Scheduling Options
You can adjust the following:
- 1.Frequency of sending: Choose between "Once" or "Twice".
- 2.Frequency of delivery: Select "Weekly", "Monthly", or "Quarterly".
- 3.Week of delivery: Adjust which week in the month or period the campaign is delivered.
- 4.Day of the week: Choose the specific day for delivery.
- 5.Time of delivery: Set the time when the campaign begins.
- 6.Phishing window: Define the range of time during which phishing simulations are delivered. (For more details, refer to the documentation on phishing campaign delivery windows.)
Step 3: Configure Phishing Templates
Below the scheduling tool, you’ll find options for Sending Channels and Learning Moments.
-
Sending Channel and Learning Types: These are set by default for Continuous Campaigns and cannot be changed. If you want to include other learning types (e.g., Video or Custom URL), you must use templates that support those types. Note that Video and Custom URL learning types do not track Learning Moment completion in the portal; only the Learning Moment type does.
-
Template Categories: Templates are organized into categories, which are selected based on your answers in the Continuous Campaign Creator tool. You can turn off entire categories at once.
To review templates in a category, click the view icon next to the category. You’ll see a list of templates within that category. To preview a template, click the preview (eyeball) icon.
Step 4: Save & Launch
Once you’ve finished configuring your campaign, click Save at the bottom of the page to launch it.
