How to Launch a Custom Fixed-Length Phishing Campaign

This guide details how to launch a custom fixed-length phishing campaign by selecting campaign type, audience, templates, and scheduling a 3-7 day phishing window through the Training and Phishing Campaigns tab, noting that fixed-length campaigns end once templates run out and must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Overview

If you want to send out a limited number of phishing templates, fixed-length campaigns are the right tool. This guide walks you through launching a custom fixed-length phishing campaign.

Note: As of 8.12.2025, all campaign types are managed from a unified Campaigns page under 'Campaigns' in the side navigation. The steps below may not reflect the latest UI locations.

Steps to Launch a Custom Fixed-Length Phishing Campaign

  1. 1.Click on the Training and Phishing Campaigns tab.
  2. 2.Click Launch a Phishing Campaign.
  3. 3.Enter the campaign name, description, and select the campaign type (fixed-length or continuous).
  4. 4.Select an audience, sending channel, and learning type(s).
  5. 5.Choose the template categories to include in your campaign.
    • Note: Once a fixed-length campaign runs out of templates, the campaign will end.
  6. 6.Select your publishing options. You have three options:
    • Save and Launch (recommended)
    • Launch Campaign
  7. 7.Click Next at the bottom of the page to proceed to scheduling.
  8. 8.On the Campaign Launcher page, you'll see the scheduling tool and a summary of your configuration. The earliest a fixed-length campaign can be scheduled is 24 hours in advance. Adjust the start date as needed.
    • Set the schedule to fit your campaign goals.
    • Review the sending channels and templates selected.
  9. 9.Click Launch to start your campaign.

Additional Notes

  • Fixed-length phishing campaigns, like continuous campaigns, send over a phishing window of 3-7 days, delivering different templates to different users at different times.
