How to Send a Test Phishing Email?

To send a test phishing email, navigate to Phishing > Campaigns, launch a phishing campaign by naming it and selecting "Fixed Length," choose a template, run a preview by entering the recipient's email, and click "Run Preview" to send the test email, noting that generic names will be used in the test template instead of actual user names.

Steps to Send a Test Phishing Email

1.Go to Phishing > Campaigns.
2.Select Launch a Phishing Campaign.
3.Enter a name for the campaign and a description.
4.For sending a test phishing campaign within the custom tool, select Fixed Length.
5.Scroll down and select a template to use for the test phishing email.
6.Select Run a Preview and enter the email address to send the test phishing email.
7.Click Run Preview at the bottom of the page to deliver the previews to the specified recipients.

Note:

When sending a test phishing email, the First and Last names in the template will default to generic values, as it is only a test. In a live campaign, the user's actual first or last name will be used in templates that include those fields.
