October 2024 Release Notes 3.15.3

The October 2024 Release Notes 3.15.3 detail improvements to ConnectWise Manage integrations including a unified integrations page for configuring permissions across billing and service desk, added validation for integration access, shared company mapping between integrations, enablement of service desk and phishing report features with direct setup links, and a new campaign scheduling feature allowing users to select the exact date and time for the first delivery of campaign content.

ConnectWise Manage Integration Improvements

A Unified Integrations Page

Previously, users needed to go through the connection and setup process for each ConnectWise (CW) integration separately. Now, you can see and configure the permissions for both integrations on one connection screen before connecting your Phin environment to the ConnectWise environment.

Added Validation

Validation has been added to the process of enabling either integration, providing user feedback on whether the integration can access what it needs to perform its job.

Shared Mapping

Mapping has been brought to both integrations by rebuilding the company mapping page. If you start with the Billing integration and then enable the Service Desk integration, the mapping of companies will persist between tabs.

Service Desk & Report Phishing Enablement

The Service Desk integration now allows company mapping, and you can see which companies already have the Report Phishing Button for Outlook integration configured in Phin. This is required for reported emails to be created as ConnectWise Service Desk tickets. If a company doesn't have it enabled, you can click the "Setup" link to open that company's Report Phishing integration page.

Pick Your Campaign's First Delivery Date

The campaign schedule feature now allows you to choose the exact date and time for users to receive the first piece of content in a campaign. After that date, the campaign will run on the indicated schedule.

Example:

If you want the first course in your training campaign delivered on 10/22/2024 at 3 PM (time-zone specific), scheduled courses after this date will recur once a month on the 1st Monday at 8 AM, starting on 10/31/2024. The scheduler will find the next date that matches the 1st Monday of the month, which is 11/4/2024. The scheduler provides a preview in both list and calendar views.

For phishing campaigns, instead of an exact first date and time, you choose the first "Phishing Send Window," which determines the first range of dates users will receive their first phishing simulation.

Company-Level Admins get Multi-Company Access

Company-level admins can now be added to multiple companies. These admins can switch between all companies they have access to, similar to a Partner Admin (but without access to partner-level information and features).

To give a company-level admin access across multiple companies, navigate to each company and add them as an admin under the "Admins" tab on the Users page.

Admins can switch companies using the switcher at the top right corner of the screen from any page in the Phin platform.

Note: Deleting a company-level admin from one company will remove them from all companies they have access to in the portal.
